HOWTOs:Email Client Setup

Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Select Tools -> Account Settings
    • Select the account you wish to use for your account or click the Add Account buton.
  2. For a new account, answer the questions:
    • Account Name (Whatever you choose can go here)
    • Your Name (ex. John Doe)
    • The email address given to you by Sus4
  3. Click on the Server Settings.
  4. Make sure that Server Name is: mail.sus4.net and that Port is changed to 995.
  5. Check User secure connection (SSL)
  6. Uncheck Use secure authentication
  7. Cick on Outgoing Server (SMTP)
  8. Make sure that Server Name is: mail.sus4.net and that Port is changed to 465.
  9. Check Use name and password and enter your email address in the User Name field.
  10. For Use secure connection, check SSL
  11. Press OK when complete.
